지난 2017년 7월 11일 University of the Philippines Diliman의 Enrico Paringit 교수를 초청하여 세미나를 진행했다.
Enrico Paringit 교수는 ‘Development of Geospatial Products, Tools and Technologies in Addressing Natural hazards and Disasters in the Philippines: Breakthroughs, Challenges and Frontiers’라는 제목으로 필리핀의 자연재해와 재난을 해결하기 위한 기술개발 현황에 대해 이야기하였으며, 해양도시건설·방재연구소와 지속적으로 연구결과를 공유하고, 협업할 것을 약속했다.
